Functional buildings with internal vehicle traffic are usually built on level sites. In the absence of these, the landscape is often rigorously adapted to the program - then what are the bulldozers for? Here, with the realization of a firestation (1998) and a builder’s yard (2001) the young planners took a contrary direction with an “architecture, which attempts to enhance the topography, materializes itself and flows back into the landscape.”
